About Us

Kevin started painting after graduating from UC Davis as a Geologist because he loves to paint!  In 2001 he decided to get his contractor’s license and start a painting company. 

Angelique worked as an Office Manager and a Bookkeeper for over a decade before meeting Kevin in 2002.   She moved to Portland from   Alaska and a great partnership began.

As Posten Painting’s Operation Manager, Kevin manages painting jobs and crew members.  From ordering paint to delivering tools and ladders to inspecting jobs in progress, Kevin keeps quite busy.  He also calculates estimates.

Angelique does the site inspections for estimates and meets up with customers to do color consulting (up to 2 hours free for our customers) and contract signings.  She also does the bookkeeping, payroll, marketing, and other administrative duties as needed.

In the beginning we decided we wanted to have a reputable painting company that focused on  quality and professionalism.  We enjoy making the Portland area even more beautiful while making our customers happy.  We love what we do.  We look forward to working with you!
